Event: Grand Hotel 7pm, Karaoke Apocalypse 10pm

Guest Issues: We didn't have any room for walk-ups in bowling and the guests took it well. I wasn't informed of any problems.

Service Issues: Everyone did great tonight! We were busy and the servers handled their sections and took good care of guests. Hosts Mata, Kayla and Kiki did a good job welcoming guests.

Food Issues: There were many large parties and the kitchen and expo, Eric, were extremely efficient.

Technical Issues: N/A

Things We Need/Ideas: N/A

Misc: The hosts have had previous problems with unhappy guests perhaps because they have to enforce rules (no outside alcohol and the age policy), and also be the welcoming face of The Highball. I've noticed that when the doormen occasionally check ID's and enforce rules, there is hardly any question, complaint or resistance from the guests. It might improve the reputation of the host stand if those rule enforcing tasks could be assigned to the doormen on busy nights so that when the guests reach the host stand, they can have a positive experience. The times that I've hosted, I've been treated extremely badly by guests who were unhappy that they couldn't bring in alcohol and/or they didn't have their ID's on them and couldn't get in.
